Cycling:
Both riding a Mountain bike and regular bike are seen by granadians as serious sports and a relaxing activities. So, it´s not strange to see groups of cyclists attempting the steep mountainous hills, especially during the weekend.
SKIING:
The Sierra Nevada ski-station, is one of the best equipped places in the whole of Spain and is considered the most southern ski resort of Europe. It has a large amount of modern hotels. It disposes of 45 marked ski-slopes with a total of 62 kilometers and classified accordingly. 20 ski lifts are available, with 266 artificial snow machines, as well as a long-distance trail. 2.100 meters is the minimum altitude and 3.300 meters the maximum.
